Copyright
Copyright is a legal right created by the law to give credit to the creator of their original work, and giving them permission to sell or distribute their work. This way the creator could charge an amount of money for their work, and they would get payed by all the people who would want their product. The creator can now support themselves with the money they get. Without copyright, it would be harder for the creators to sell, they would have to get a request by someone who would want to buy before they can publish more, and they would most likely be forced to take another job.
What should you do to respect this copyright? Never copy something straight off a book or website that has a copyright. You can use the information, as long as you use your own words and the give the website's or book's publisher credit in your sources as I have done earlier.

PIRacy
What is piracy? Piracy is the stealing of files off the internet, whether it is a movie or operating systems. You can basically find anything on the internet you could want and download for free and many people ask, why is this wrong, its not hurting anyone, and even, it's not illegal, its just file sharing! However piracy is very wrong. It is stealing, and stealing products of copyright will rob the owner of their prophet, causing them to have to find a different line of work. Have you seen a good movie series and wanted the next movie to come out? They can not make the next movie if they do not have enough money to support themselves. You should always pay for software you get, if not, find an alternative freeware.
